AI THAT EMPOWERS PEOPLE,
NOT AI THAT REPLACES THEM

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FOR BUSINESS

Artificial intelligence does not replace the people who work in a company. It amplifies what they can do. That distinction is not rhetorical: it changes how a system is designed, where the data is kept and who remains accountable for decisions.

In most companies AI came in through the back door: an online subscription, a web interface, and business data leaving the perimeter without anyone deciding it could. It works, until you need to know where that information ended up.

We set it up differently.

AI inside your own perimeter

We design and deploy artificial intelligence systems that run on your infrastructure — in our data centres in Italy or on your own servers — not on third-party platforms outside the European Union. Documents, customer records and communications stay exactly where they have always been.

This solves three problems at once:

  • data sovereignty: no transfer to non-EU countries, no dependence on contract terms that change unilaterally;
  • compliance: processing remains documentable for GDPR purposes and for the obligations introduced by the AI Act;
  • continuity: the system does not stop working because a foreign provider changes the service, the pricing or the availability of a model.

Augmenting work, not replacing it

Every application we build starts from a task that today takes time from a competent person, and frees them from the repetitive part while leaving them the part that requires judgement.

Searchable company knowledge

Contracts, procedures, specifications, technical documentation, correspondence: a company’s information is often scattered across thousands of files nobody has time to read. A system trained on your documents answers in natural language and cites its source, so people verify instead of searching.

Document and administrative analysis

Data extraction from invoices, orders and delivery notes, consistency checks, reconciliations. The system proposes, the person validates: accountability stays with whoever signs.

Decision support

Time-series analysis, anomaly detection, alerts on deviations in costs, consumption and deadlines. Not a prediction to accept blindly, but an indication of where it is worth looking.

Customer service and relationships

First-level classification of incoming requests, draft replies, retrieval of customer history. The operator receives a reply already shaped and corrects it, instead of writing from scratch.

The principle: the person stays in the process

In every system we deliver, the output produced by AI is a proposal, not an act. Whoever works with it can see where the information comes from, trace it back to the original document and decide. The reasons are three, and all practical: models make mistakes and need checking; legal responsibility for a decision cannot be delegated to software; and a system people trust because they can verify it gets used, while an opaque one gets worked around.

That is why our work does not end at installation. It includes training the people who will use the system, and defining what the system may do and what must remain in human hands.

AI Act compliance

Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 introduces growing obligations for those who develop and those who use artificial intelligence systems, with stricter requirements as the level of risk increases. We support companies in classifying the systems in use, in transparency duties towards users and employees, and in the documentation to keep available. On this front we also guide the path towards ISO/IEC 42001, the standard for artificial intelligence management systems.

Why us

A corporate AI project is an infrastructure, security and organisation project before it is a model project. FinGreenTech operates as a certified cloud and cybersecurity provider — ISO/IEC 27001, 27017, 27018, ISO 22301, ISO 9001, with the ACN QC2 qualification as a cloud service provider for the Italian Public Administration — with data centres in Italy and a network of specialists including university lecturers, Innovation Managers listed in the ministerial register, professionals certified under Accredia-accredited schemes and information security experts.

Many of the interventions described on this page qualify as eligible expenditure under digital transition calls, which cover between 50% and 70% of the investment and, in some regional measures, up to 100%. Assessing which incentives apply is part of the project, not a separate service.

Let’s talk
