SME Digitalization Voucher 2026: the Lazio Region returns with €15 million, up to €150,000 per company

One of the most awaited calls for Lazio’s businesses is back. On 11 September 2026, the Lazio Region — through Lazio Innova — presented the SME Digitalization Voucher 2026: a measure under the ERDF Lazio 2021-2027 Programme, offering €15 million to help small and medium enterprises take a concrete technological leap — from cloud to cybersecurity, from the digital workplace to digital commerce.

It is the fourth edition of a tool that has proven its worth: between 2023 and 2025 the Region allocated a total of €34 million, and 86% of the beneficiary companies were micro and small enterprises.

What the voucher funds

The call funds concrete digital-transformation projects, with flat-rate grants by type. Eligible areas are:

  • Digital Assessment — a digital-maturity analysis of the company.
  • Digital Workplace — digital work tools and organization.
  • Digital Commerce — digital commerce and customer engagement.
  • Cloud — migration of applications and data: application server, database server, web server and backup.
  • Cyber Security — strengthening information security.

Cloud and Cyber Security are among the highest-value items: the flat-rate grant for a cloud database server reaches €27,656, and cybersecurity is worth up to €44,917 for medium enterprises.

How much it’s worth

The grant is non-repayable and ranges from a minimum of €14,000 up to a maximum that depends on company size:

  • Micro enterprises: up to €50,000
  • Small enterprises: up to €100,000
  • Medium enterprises: up to €150,000

How it works (and why it’s not a «click day»)

A welcome change that rewards good work: selection is by ranking, based on objective criteria that value the quality and structure of the project — no click day. It’s not about being first by a fraction of a second; it’s about presenting a solid, well-built project.

Eligible applicants are SMEs (micro, small and medium) registered in the Business Register with an operating office in Lazio. The application window has been open since 11 September 2026.
